The piston crank mechanism is the power train system of the reciprocating internal combustion engine. It could transform piston reciprocating movement into the crankshaft rotational movement. In turn, the piston crank mechanism could also use the inertia of the flywheel to drive the pistons.
There are three parts of the piston crank mechanism. They are engine block group; piston and connecting rod group; crankshaft and flywheel group.
